Sergel HUB hosted the Swedish final of Copper Skillet on March 23, 2026, one of the world’s leading culinary competitions for conference venues. The event brought together some of the country’s top chefs from the meetings and events industry in an intense showdown where both technical skill and creativity were put to the test.
When the jury’s decision was announced, Mikael Forssell from Runö Möten & Events was named winner of the senior category, while Elias Callin from Rosersbergs Slottshotell claimed first place in the junior category.
The win means that both chefs now advance to the European final in Munich later this autumn. There, they will compete for a place in the world final, set to take place in the United States next spring.
